I’m Vibhuti Chaudhari, and my journey started in optometry, where I completed both my diploma and degree in India. After working as an optometrist, I realized that healthcare isn’t just about treating patients—social and cultural factors play a huge role in health decisions. This inspired me to pursue a Master’s in Management in Health and Social Care, as I wanted to explore how these factors impact healthcare delivery. Throughout my years in optometry, I saw how health outcomes were often influenced by social factors like income, education, and cultural beliefs. This led me to enrol in the Introduction to Social Research Methods course, where I hope to learn how to collect and analyse data to improve healthcare systems and patient care.
